My four years of high school have helped me discover my love of piano. Piano itself has always been apart of my life, my dad would often play on the old upright we had before we had to sell it. But it wasn’t until I had access to public pianos that I got to find my passion for it. I was able to practice constantly, and even though I was never able to get formal music training I was able to teach myself music theory, even composing a few pieces for myself and a few other students. But now that I’ve graduated, this piano that I’m being given is going to help me continue my passion and open up careers. I plan on pursuing music though pianos and I hope to achieve a career in piano technology. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
